Quiche Ornamental Fonts

I reworked my fonts and had hoped to try again and convert them with Font Forge, but for the first time ever I have had a hard time trying to install Ubuntu 11.04 on my new computer- it won't boot from CD/DVD, and from BIOS menu, it will load, but past the Try/Install button I get a black screen. So until I can get Ubuntu to install, or another monitor for my old computer, my fonts remain SVG. Having just taken a class on Typography, I feel like Font Forge will be a little less intimidating and confusing.
